Sav Schulman loves making photographs that hit the mark. 

He has more than 25 years’ experience as a full-time professional photographer, and has a warm, natural and relaxed manner which brings out the best in those he photographs. 

Now based back in Auckland after 12 years in Melbourne, his photographic education and experience has spanned one University, two continents and three countries. 

From his early fast-paced photojournalism days leading into magazine work, then commercial, advertising, events, on-location portraits, architecture, product and editorial, he constantly pursues new and creative ways to deliver the client’s vision.  

Sav also offers video, drone and studio shoots. Embracing new technology, he uses the latest camera, drone and studio/on-location lighting. 

His work covers a broad range of sectors including tertiary education, not for profit and corporate, music, the arts, aged and disability care.

When he’s not writing about himself in the third person, Sav loves to travel, is an aviation and military history enthusiast, always has a camera on him, enjoys volunteering his services to charities and devours books.
